Influence of Aging on DNase Activity in Human Parotid Saliva

The micro method of disc electrophoresis is introduced for determining DNase activity in human saliva. Acid DNase activity in an elderly age group was found to be low, compared with that in a young age group. However, electrophoretic properties of materials obtained from young and elderly age groups did not vary significantly.
