The addition of NaH 2PO4 to diets that contained 0.3 and 0.6% calcium and phosphorus resulted in a significant increase in weight gain and a significant cariostatic effect, regardless of the amount of inherent dietary Ca and P. The degree of efficacy increased with larger concentrations of inherent dietary Ca and P.
