Urine and blood were collected from young adults at predetermined intervals after ingesting 1.0 mg fluoride (as NaF) in a vitamin-fluoride tablet. The urinary fluoride concentration reached a maximum within two hours and returned to the normal value within six hours; blood fluoride changes paralleled those observed in urine.
