Matrix Metalloproteinase-3 Differences in Oral and Skin Fibroblasts

Both inhibitors significantly reduced gel contraction by oral fibroblasts at all time-points (p < 0.05); GM1489 significantly inhibited gel contraction by skin fibroblasts at all time-points (p < 0.05). Studies were carried out in triplicate on 3 paired skin and oral fibroblast populations. Data are expressed as mean ± SE.
