Figure. Sections of dental tissues of a day-1 wild-type mouse were immunostained for decorin (DCN) (A) and biglycan (BGN) (B). Both SLRPs were immunodetected in predentin (arrowheads). In addition, positive staining was seen with the anti-BGN alone at the junction between the secretory ameloblasts (a) and the stratum intermedium (arrow). In addition, granules (secretory or re-internalized material) were positively stained for BGN in the distal part of ameloblasts. Odontoblasts (o) were slightly above background labeling.
