The Effect of Mastication on Marginal Adaptation of Composite Restorations in vivoInstitute of Cariology and Endodontics, Royal Dental College, 4, Universitetsparken, DK-2100 Copenhagen ö, Denmark The marginal adaptation of composite restorations placed in vivo in acid-etched cavities in teeth with and without antagonists was compared. The results showed that functional mastication has a major influence on the marginal adaptation of composite restorations in the oral environment and must therefore be considered in the planning of future leakage experiments.
