Visco-elastic Properties of Pour (Fluid) Denture Base ResinsDental School of the London Hospital Medical College, London E1 2AD, England
Dental School of the London Hospital Medical College, London E1 2AD, England A number of pour-type denture base resins were found to have low glass transition temperatures, indicating a propensity to thermal distortion. These low transition temperatures reflected high residual monomer contents. Furthermore, such materials exhibited high mechanical loss tangents, consistent with high creep rates observed previously.
