State University of New York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, New York 11794 The presence of mucopolysaccharidase activity within the pulps of resorbing deciduous teeth was investigated using histochemical techniques. The loss of toluidine blue metachromasia within glycosaminoglycan film substrates indicated the presence of enzyme activity. This was related to physiologic resorption.
