The Effects of a Cleanser, Mordant, and PolySAC on Adhesion Between a Composite Resin and DentinAmerican Dental Association Health Foundation Research Unit at the National Bureau of Standards, Washington, D.C. 20234 Preliminary evaluations on the effects of a cleanser, mordant, and polyfunctional surface-active comonomer on adhesion between a composite resin and dentin evinced that the ferric chloride mordant significantly improved bonding. The effects of the cleanser and coupling agent were also favorable, as were all of their interactions.
