Tensile bond strengths between five orthodontic cements and acid-etched enamel were studied. The influence of a saline primer and storage in artificial saliva at 37 C for up to 30 days was evaluated. Statistically significant differences were found for different cements, time of storage, and the effect of silane pretreatment on etched enamel.
