Histometric studies were done of the submaxillary glands of male mice. Parasympathetic denervation induced atrophy of the acini and slight atrophy of the tubules. Castration induced atrophy of the tubules and the administration of testosterone Propionate produced hypertrophy of the tubules, but the acini were not altered.
