THP-1 cells were transiently transfected with -159C/luc, -159T/luc, or pGL3-Basic (1 µg). Luciferase activity was normalized for transfection efficiency with the use of a control plasmid pRL-TK (25 ng) and protein concentration. Results are fold increase in relative luciferase activity (RLA) of the CD14 reporter constructs compared with the empty control vector pGL3-Basic.
